Humpf

Humpf, another boring day. It was very frosty this morning, again. It's still very dark in the morning. That means out walks are later and shorter. And SHE's gone off for the day...something about work.
Here I'm inspecting the frost on the weeds.

Every morning, just as the sun comes up, this tree has loads of birds right up at the top. It's the first place the sun hits as it comes up. They can get warm. We think that's pretty clever.
The frost only lasts until the sun hits it. Bet you can tell where east is by the ice on this car. But the good thing about frost is that it usually means it'll be a beautiful (but cold) day.
But SHE's not home so we can really enjoy it....humpf!

  1. Sorry abouts the coldies. Maybe those birdies would share the top of the tree with you! Hope things get less boring soon.

  8. Totally opposite weather here. We prefer the cold because we get more walks. Hoping those boring days are gone soon!

it's totally lame-o that your alpha has to work ALL DAY LONG! couldn't she at least do her work at home with ya'll so you can still have some fun time outside?

  10. Hi girls - we feel for you. MH works from home and only ever leaves us one day a week (when he's out seeing clients). Yes, we get a puppy sitter on this day, who comes round with his doggie and we have great fun with them BUT that's SO not the point! Our humans leave us, alone, abandoned, neglected.....!! It's simply not good enough. And FH leaves us almost EVERY day, muttering some such nonsense about having to work to earn doggie biscuits and other fripparies. As you say - humpf! When FH gets home from this 'work' thing we immediately check her out for smells of other doggies. We like to make sure she's not being unfaithful to us by playing with other doggies, you can never be too sure you know!! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

  11. Now then, this is worrying. We have same problem here, off she goes, without a word of warning (shoes and handbag usually gives her away) and we think something must be done about humans who go out. Maybe start a 'Scotties Don't Like Being Left Union' (SDLBLU for long).

Mind you, guilt does wonders for treat distribution. We have the look, the "why did you leave us" look and then there is the "what did you bring me?" sniffle round her bags.

    Usually gets us something

  12. How odd that here in America we are having the hottest part of the year. I still don't quite understand how that works...
